Polonijny Konkurs Tanca
ABC Dance Academy is invited to a Dance Competition at Signature Barn Banquet Hall in Orland Park, IL
on SUNDAY, 11/03/24 starting at 10AM.
There will be different dance styles and age groups
participating in the event.
Event is open to all ages, and many styles of dance. Groups, duets, and solos. Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places.

International Kids' Day Competition 2024
We loved cheering up our dancers, who entered the International Kids Day Dance Competition in Palos Hills!
Tickets at the door were $25 for adults. Free entry to non-dancer children. Only cash accepted at the door.

Introducing Ms. Inna, our dynamic new dance instructor!
She began her dance journey at age 4 with ballroom at first, then ballet, acro and disco dances. Inna holds a Bachelor's Degree in Dance Choreography from the Lviv State University of Physical Culture.
Inna has competed in Ukrainian Championships and proudly represented Ukraine at the World Championships. She has achieved a professional level in her career and continues to enhance her skills
through masterclasses led by esteemed instructors
from Ukraine and around the world.

LEAP Competition 2024
THE 13TH SEASON OF LEAP! NATIONAL DANCE COMPETITION
in BATAVIA FINE ARTS CENTRE from 05/17-05/19/24
One group and one solo dancer entered this competition and we were thrilled to share the stage with the great dancers in Skip and Leap Levels!

Chance to Shine Dance Competition 2024
On 03/02/24, we presented one solo, one trio, and one small group dance at the Chance to Shine Competition in Northfield, Illinois.

Dance Exhibition 2024
This year, almost 40 ABC Dance students participated in the annual
Dance Exhibition in River Forest!
We are proud of all students dancing their hearts away
for a great audience!
The Elvis Show! You Ain't Nothing but a Hound Dog
On 01/21/24, ABC Dance Academy students participated in a non-competitive dance showcase opened to the community.
We all danced to Elvis songs on the beautiful stage
at Dominican University in River Forest!
Also part of the profits raised from the showcase
was donated to The Animal Care League in Oak Park.

Taste of Polonia - Labor Day 2023
Taste of Polonia Festival is coming up over Labor Weekend
at Copernicus Center, 5216 W. Lawrence in Chicago.
This year, ABC Dance Academy will present a Summer Show
on Labor Day Monday, 09/04/23, from 4-5PM.
Taste of Polonia has grown to be the country’s largest
and oldest Polish Festival!
Invite your Family and Friends to cheer your dancer up
and enjoy Taste of Polonia food, fun, and other activities.
Tickets at the door $15. Kids ages 12 and under FREE.
Dance Competition on 06/03/23
We will be cheering up our dancers, who are entering International Kids Day Dance Competition in Palos Hills!
ABC Dance solo and duet routines, as well as our jazz/gymnastics group will compete on 06/03/23! Tickets at the door are $20 for adults, and $15 for kids ages 4 and up.
Students cover dancer's fee and don't need to buy an entry ticket. Cash only accepted at the door. Dancers to arrive in costumes and makeup.
Don't forget your dance shoes and change of costumes. Good luck dancers!

After two year Covid break,
ABC Dance Academy took over Kid's Stage again on Labor Day, 09/05/22 and students presented our summer dance routines!
It felt great to be dancing on the stage again!

The Dance Exhibition 2022
On Sunday, 03/06/2022, some of our dancers attended The Dance Exhibition at Dominican University in River Forest
The Dance Exhibition is a non-competitive dance showcase open to the community. This was a benefit performance; part of the profits raised from the showcase was donated to Opportunity Knocks and a dance scholarship was awarded to assist in the future training for one deserving student!

There was a lot of dancing! And all participants received medals or trophies. Great job dancers!
ALL STARS DANCE COMPETITION at Stan Mansion - 06/06/21
On Sunday, 06/06/21, ABC Dance Academy organized the first
ALL STARS DANCE COMPETITION
for dance students from few Chicagoland Dance Studios.
Competition was divided into 2 parts to follow COVID-19 restrictions. Group and solo entries in different dance styles participated in the event.

The Dance Exhibition 2020 at Dominican University
On 03/08/2020 some of our students have participated
in this first community showcase.
Each dancer has received the Certificate of Appreciation and one student received $200 scholarship towards classes at ABC Dance Academy. Congratulations to all dancers who performed today!

ABC Dance Squad Auditions - 03/24/18
ABC Dance Academy is looking for Intermediate/Advance Hip Hop and Contemporary dancers, ages 10 -18, to be apart of their dance squad. Dancers will be required to attend regularly scheduled dance classes. Classes will prepare dancers for upcoming performances or competitions. If you are unable to make the audition day, please read below for video submission details.
Reggaeton Dance Workshop - 03/23/18
Come and learn a 1-2 minute Reggaeton Routine with Instructor Jamileth.
No dancing experience required - just an open mind. Please dress comfortably as you will be moving around a lot. Knee pads are highly recommended for this workshop.

Unity Dance Social - 10/22/17, 6-11PM
BACHATA MEETS MAMBO, it was our second Dance Social event at ABC Dance Academy. Two ROOMS of bachata and mambo music and dancing! There were three dance lessons: - Karina Guzman - mambo basics 6:00 pm till 6:30 pm - Carlos Cinta - bachata basic/intermediate 6:00 pm till 6:45 pm - Adrian Tenorio - mambo shines 6:30 Pm till 7:15 pm. Line up DJs: Jose Montes, Gopal Joshi Jesus D Castro , Carlos Cinta and Dj EDGAR MARROQUIN. Thank you all for coming!
Dance for a Cause - 10/01/17, 4-6PM
We were dancing for 2 hours in effort to help those in PR and Mexico. This event was be based on donations. We were accepting cash donations as well as baby food (all kinds), baby formula, baby wipes, canned goods, food warmers, aluminum food trays, zip lock bags, first aid kits, aspirin, Tylenol, gloves, garbage bags, mosquito repellent, pet food, hair brushes, sponges, flash lights and batteries, face masks. Thank you all for coming and donating!
